Club gets ahead by getting a hat

As a finale to London Hat Week, the annual celebration of hat-making and hat-wearing, a group gathered on 7th August for the London Hat Walk, a parade around London by people in hats, as a way of promoting the sporting of titfers in general. The starting point was the Morley Gallery, at Morley College's Waterloo site, where the Hat Week's exhibition was being held. As ever there was a broad range of styles, from the traditional to the surreal (although this time no people with furniture or a lighthouse on their heads, which we saw in 2019). The New Sheridan Club contingent was easily spotted by their overall Chappist attire. In case you're wondering about the backdrop, the first stop was the Graffiti Tunnel at Waterloo station…
