Mr Justin Jun Tao Chan, who only joined at the last meeting, is already doing his bit by delivering a talk on the history of consumerism, with a focus on the 1920s. This young man is an example to us all.

As usual we will be attempting to livestream the talk: I can't be there myself, as apparently I have to go on holiday, but Stuart Mitchell has volunteered to handle the tech chores. I think he's bringing some sort of high-powered mobile data hub, powered by dilithium crystals, which should offer a faster and more reliable internet connection than the pub's wifi.
