Our guest speaker will be Joe Banks, with a talk entitled From Teds to Goths: The Evolution of UK Subcultures, which he describes as “a journey through the history of UK subcultures, exploring how music, fashion and rebellion shaped movements from the sharp-dressed Teds to the dark, introspective Goths—each one a reflection of the changing social landscape”.
