Admission: £27.50 in advance
Dress: 1920s elegance with an optional Halloween twist
The Candlelight Club is an award-winning clandestine pop-up 1920s speakeasy, in a secret London venue lit by candles. Each event offers a one-off cocktail menu with special themes, plus live period jazz bands and vintage vinylism for your dancing pleasure.
As the nights draw in and the party season kicks off, we’ll be warming up the dance floor with red-hot music, sizzling cabaret and cockle-warming cocktails. Live tunes will come from the Swing Ninjas, belting out Jazz Age rhythms from the 1920s and 1930s, with some impressive vocal harmonies to boot. Hosting will be the Lord of Cabaret misrule, Champagne Charlie, with a slap, a tickle and a saucy song. When the band aren’t playing DJs the Bee’s Knees will be spinning vintage vinyl into the night. There will also be a pop-up vintage jewellery store, a fortune teller and a roaming photographer.
You can come just for drinks and dancing but you can also reserve a table with Champagne, or book the three-course dinner. In addition to the main cocktail bar, our rum and cigar bar will be selling genuine Havana cigars to smoke in our private garden. Ticket-holders receive an email two days before revealing the secret location.
"The closest you'll find to an authentic Jazz Age experience in central London. Its unique ambience, fuelled by hundreds of candles, is truly a scene to behold." —Time Out
