Admission: £21 from stagsevenoaks.co.uk/film/the-coco-club
The Coco Club is a nightclub set in the 1930s, celebrating the golden age of British Dance Band music, interlaced with traces of Europe and Latin America. Musical authenticity is paramount, and so the 1920s may be ventured into, but nothing is played beyond the year 1939. Headlining the evening's live entertainment will be Brandyn Shaw with his Dance Band, the 'Radio' Rhythm Makers. Between performances, specially selected recordings of original dance music are provided by Empire Radio. The atmosphere is intended to evoke memories of a Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers film, and so style and glamour are bywords for the night. The wearing of black or white tie and evening or cocktail dresses is actively encouraged.
